One day we found Elaine playing with her own fingers, it looks like she's praying, so daddy decided to help her a little more...有一天晚上我們看到以琳很專心的自己在玩她的手指,看起來好像是要禱告的樣子,所以以琳爸決定要幫以琳寶寶一點忙...

4th month baby well check up

Baby Elaine had her 4 months check up today where she got 4 shots! (brave girl) We also got confirmed by the doctor that Elaine's rash was caused by driness. We'll have to get more sensitive shampoo and lotion for her! Here's her latest status:

Weight: 13lb 15 oz (50%)

Length: 26.5 inches (99+%) passed the scale range...

head: 16 inches (75%)

Elaine's New Toy 以琳的新玩具

Baby Elaine got some strong legs! She started to "stand" and "kick" all the time around 2 1/2 months. Since she likes to stand and kick so much, daddy and mommy decided to take this hand-me-down exersaucer out and let baby Elaine try it. Yep! She's loving it! (She even learned to turn around right away!) 以琳寶寶的腳腳可強壯的很呢!從兩個多月開始,以琳開始想要站,踢...坐都坐不安分.所以爸爸媽媽決定把這個玩具拿出來給以琳試試看.以琳一下子就會玩了,不但如此她馬上就知道怎麼轉圈喔!

Baby Elaine's 100 Day

One of my Korean student's parents told me that Korean people celebrate their baby's 100th day. Baby Elaine's 100 day is TODAY! 11/9/2006. Happy 100 day 以琳!

Going to the Zoo!

As our anniversary weekend drawing to an end, Daddy decided to take mommy and baby Elaine to the zoo. Most of the time baby Elaine was more interested in looking at people than looking at the animals. But she really excited to see the elephants and the African Penguins, she laugh out loud and giggles when she sees them! Baby fell asleep at the end of the zoo trip (around the hippo part). Unfortunately we didn't get to see the lion cubs whose birthday were the same as baby Elaine's. Anyway, it was a great date for daddy and mommy ended with bubble tea. What an interesting experience for baby!

Daddy and Mommy's 3rd Anniversary

This year we are staying in Denver, Daddy took some days off from work so he could spend some quality time with Mommy and baby Elaine. We walked around in the mall, got our rings engraved, also got baby Elaine a Christmas shirt. In the evening, Daddy took mommy and baby Elaine out to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Baby Elaine was a very well-behaved "third-wheel"今年我們不去外州了,我們留在丹佛跟寶寶在一起.爸爸拿了幾天的休假陪寶寶也陪媽媽.我們今天去了百貨公司走走,把我們的戒指拿去刻字,順便幫寶寶買了件聖誕衣服.晚上爸爸帶我們出去吃飯,寶寶一整天都沒有哭哭喔!真是個合作的電燈泡!
