Usually she counts when she's climbing upstairs/downstairs (kinda hard to catch that on camera) Today, out of the blue, she took out grandma's Sudoku book and pan and started to count! Next goal- Count in Taiwanese. 平時以琳上下樓梯時才會自己數數字,所以很難捕捉到.今天忽然間拿起阿媽的Sudoku和筆,一坐下就數了四分鐘. 中文會了,下一個目標-用台語數.

New LIfe from Easter 復活節的新生命

This past Easter we took Elaine to Wildlife Experience Museum, aunties and uncles there taught Elaine how to grow her own sunflower. Elaine actually got to buried her own sunflower seed, and water the pot everyday. Look! The flower is growing finally! Elaine was overjoyed! 這個復活節爸爸媽媽帶以琳去我們家旁邊一家博物館玩, 那裡的阿姨叔叔教以琳怎麼種花,以琳自己把種子放到泥土裡埋起來,每天定時澆花(大部分由阿公媽媽代澆,以琳在旁看) 看! 花苗長出來了喔! 以琳看到了好興奮喔!

We got to take a picture with the easter bunny in the museum too! Beyond our expectation, Elaine didn't cry at all! Although she looked awfully serious. 我們在博物館裡還跟復活節的兔子照相喔! 出乎我們的意料,以琳竟然沒有哭哭,可是看起來很正經喔!
