After baby Elaine's born, on average we consumed one cake every month. And this month, mommy made mango mousse cake from scratch. (Too bad Elaine can only look it and not eat it)

以琳出生後,我們平均一個月就吃一個蛋糕.這個月媽媽作了芒果幕斯蛋糕給以琳,可惜以琳只能看不能吃.

Dear baby Elaine has been in this world for as long as she was in mommy's tummy! 以琳出生後的日子和在媽媽肚子裡的日子一樣長囉!

Tooth Brushing 刷牙囉!

I have two teeth now, so mommy help me clean them every night before I go to bed. It's fun! 我長了兩顆牙齒了,所以媽媽每天晚上在我睡覺前都為幫我擦一擦牙喔.很好玩滴!

Happy Valentine's Day! 情人節快樂

For baby Elaine's 6 months birthday/Valentine's Day gift, daddy and mommy decided to take Elaine to Kiddie Kandid to have her photos taken professionally. (It's more like a gift for us though) It took baby Elaine 45 minutes just to have 6 pictures taken...because she was too focused playing with the props. 爸爸媽媽給以琳的六個月/情人節的禮物是給她照個漂漂亮亮的相來做個紀念.(其實應該比較算是給爸爸媽媽的禮物吧) 照相師花了四十五分鐘照了六張以琳的照片...因為以琳根本不理采我們大人在逗她笑,她很專心的在玩旁邊照相用的道具~

Against the Wall 靠邊站

One day daddy was playing with baby Elaine, and realized baby Elaine can stand without "support" if she leans against the wall. She doesnt look like a "baby" anymore! 有一天當爸爸再跟以琳寶寶玩時,發現以琳寶寶自己可以靠著牆壁站,不用人扶的喔! 她看起來不像是個北鼻了! (好無辜的臉)

Excercise 作運動

Don't know when or how, baby learned to grab her feet. She will also automatically grab her feet when she hears mommy say:" Time to change your diaper!" What a considerate baby~ 不知道在什麼時候,以琳寶寶學會雙手抓住她的腳腳. 不但如此,當媽媽說:"該換尿片囉!"以琳寶寶也會自動的抓住繳腳讓媽媽換尿片喔! 真是貼心的乖寶寶!

I enjoy reading very much! 我愛讀書

Baby Elaine can sit without support for more than 20 mins at a time. She enjoys reading her animal books with mommy every morning. 以琳寶寶可以自己坐二十分鐘以上了,每天早上以琳喜歡跟媽媽一起讀書.

Elaine's first rice cereal experience

Today we let Elaine sit on her high chair for the first time (Thank you, auntie Maggie for the high chair), she truely enjoyed being a part of the dinning experience, and watching daddy and mommy eat food that she'd love to try some day. After talking to Adah bak-mo and Karen gu-ma, daddy and mommy decided to let baby Elaine try rice cereal diluted with breastmilk. Baby Elaine caught on really quickly and loved eating, biting and playing with spoon! (don't mind Elaine's little boo boo on her face, it's getting a lot better now)

Mommy! I want more please! 媽媽! 我還想要一點ㄋㄟ!

Elaine's New Toy 以琳的新玩具

Baby Elaine got some strong legs! She started to "stand" and "kick" all the time around 2 1/2 months. Since she likes to stand and kick so much, daddy and mommy decided to take this hand-me-down exersaucer out and let baby Elaine try it. Yep! She's loving it! (She even learned to turn around right away!) 以琳寶寶的腳腳可強壯的很呢!從兩個多月開始,以琳開始想要站,踢...坐都坐不安分.所以爸爸媽媽決定把這個玩具拿出來給以琳試試看.以琳一下子就會玩了,不但如此她馬上就知道怎麼轉圈喔!

Baby's 2 months check up 兩個月的身體檢查

Mommy's birthday is also baby's 2 months birthday, and is also daddy's annual "holiday". In part of celebrating both mommy and baby's birthday, baby Elaine also had her 2 months check up. Elaine is 24 inches long, 11 lbs. Baby Elaine also got 3 shots today, she was asleep before shots, screamed 3 times during, and fell right back to sleep after shots. What a brave (and sleepy) baby! Daddy and Mommy are very proud of her!

Elaine's first bathing experience 以琳一生頭一回泡澡

and she is loving it! (She even made tiny little splashes with her legs)

It's an important family affair! 大家都在觀賞...(應該要收入場費的說...)

Two Big Things Happened Today! 以琳的兩個里程碑

First, Baby Elaine's umbilical cord fell off! 第一, 小以琳的臍帶掉下來囉!

Secondly, Baby Elaine had her first doctor's visit, she even has her own insurance card!

第二,小以琳第一次去看小兒科醫生,她還有自己的保險卡呢!

Birthweight: 6 pounds 8.2 ounces vs. Now: 6 pounds 15.5 ounces (15%tile)

出生重量: 六磅八點二盎司 現在: 快七磅囉!

Length at birth: 20.5 inches vs. Now: 22 inches (97%tile)

出生身長:二十點五吋 現在: 二十二吋

Baby Elaine is a tall baby! (Probably got that from her daddy)

小以琳算是一個長的很高的寶寶喔! (遺傳到爸爸)
